October 19, 2017 marks 25 years since the establishment of the “Nansen Center” in St. Petersburg!
On this occasion celebrations were held in St. Petersburg on October 12 and 13. The main event was the Jubilee Symposium, which was held on the first day of October 12 in the Petrovsky Hall in the Main Building of the St. Petersburg State University, the second meeting was held on October 13 in the conference hall of the Nansen Center Foundation. The Program of the Symposium had reports of leading Russian and foreign scientists working in the field of analysis of remote sensing data and climate studies from organizations – our founders and partners, as well as scientists from the Nansen Center.
