On July 3, the defense of the dissertation for the degree of candidate of geographical sciences in the specialty 1.6.17 Oceanology by Diana Iakovleva took place at the St. Petersburg University.
The dissertation topic is “Influence of oceanic advection on the formation of the thermohaline structure of the Norwegian, Irminger, Labrador seas and on the development of deep convection”.
Supervisor: DSc Igor Bashmachnikov.
As a result of the voting, Diana was unanimously awarded the degree of candidate of geographical sciences.
