The names of young scientists and students awarded RAS medals for 2024 have been announced.
Mikhail Latonin, research fellow at the Foundation “Nansen-Centre”, was awarded the RAS medal for his work titled:
“Study of the Mechanisms of Arctic Amplification of Global Warming.”
This research, conducted at the Foundation “Nansen-Centre”, yielded new results on the development of Arctic amplification on various time scales, the role of meridional atmospheric and oceanic heat transport, and radiative processes in the atmosphere in the Arctic amplification formation and variability.
We congratulate Mikhail on receiving the award and wish him new scientific discoveries!
